What is Kidney Failure?
Kidney Failure is one of the most dreadful problems of today. The number of people suffering from this condition is increasing day by day. The kidneys are the most efficient filters of our body. The blood flows through the kidneys and the kidneys filter the metabolic byproducts and various unwanted wastes in the urine. The kidneys get damaged due to some cause and as a result the material, that should be filtered and thrown out of the body by way of urine starts accumulating in the blood. Renal Physiology in Ayurveda

Improper elimination of these can lead to number of disease conditions. All types of excretion is handled by Vata in our Body. Pakvashaya, a specific part of our large intestine is the seat of Vata. The food we eat is digested in the intestines. After completing the digestion, the useful part is absorbed in the blood and solid waste is thrown out by way of stools and the liquid waste is thrown out by way of urine.
The division of useful and waste takes place at a part called pakvashaya in the large intestine.
